Real Wedding – Char + Peter
Char and Peter’s magical warehouse wedding was a marriage of elegance and industrial.
Char and Peter’s magical warehouse wedding was a marriage of elegance and industrial. The goal was to create a stunning classic theme while tuning in to the industrial surrounds of the warehouse and adding just the right amount of timber elements to soften the overall look.
Lightspace is well-known for its long banquet table configurations so as a contrast, individual square tables placed around with the dance floor as the centre and the bridal table at the head, transformed the space creating a look that was far more classic. Many of the elements included gold but with the careful balance of timber and greenery and the addition of loose, whimsical floral arrangements it was steered away from invoking any particular traditional wedding style. This ‘pretty’ styled look may be an unexpected choice for a Lightspace wedding or a wedding in any urban or industrial backdrop, for that matter and the result was pleasantly surprising. Our advice to you, as you are planning your own weddings is to be bold with your choices! Don’t be afraid to make combinations that are unexpected or contrasting. Explore styling fusions, mixing two different looks together. If done well, the result can be spectacular.
Special shout out to the incredible Marcus Bell, who as always captured the heart of this gorgeous wedding with absolute precision. Also to the incredible Geraldine from Bouquet Boutique, the marvellous team at AVIdeas, Cut a Rug for rocking some serious tunes, Dale from Studio Impressions for completing the look with that stunning dance floor and last but not least, Styled Events for those stunning gold table tops. Where would we be without you all. X
