REAL WEDDING – SARAH + MICHAEL
We just loved Sarah and Michael’s stunning urban woodland wedding in Brisbane’s inner city. Natural wood, dusky blue, dove white and champagne pink set the colour palette for this intimate wedding celebration.
In the classically beautiful ceremony held in St Patricks Church, pale ivory and champagne florals with a touch of lace adorned each pew. The ceremony was filled with love and laughter that flowed on to the reception held at Mirra Private Dining. Under a festoon of lights and swaying to the sweet sounds of an acoustic trio, guests were romanced whilst enjoying champagne and canapés.
Inside a splendid vision was beheld, featuring a real live tree as the stunning focal point of the reception styling. Long rows of wooden trestle tables with mahogany bentwood chairs create beautiful visual lines leading to the feature tree and bridal table. Table settings featured elegant cut crystal glassware, pewter candlesticks, dusky blue napery and delicate florals in pewter vessels. Glass ball votives hung from the branches of the tree and ornate lanterns adorned the high ceilings of the venue providing soft romantic lighting and striking visuals.
The final stunning element to this magical wedding was the mirrored dance floor tucked in the nook of the dinning area. Sarah and Michael’s true love dazzled in their first dance capturing the pure magic of their wedding day.
