Real Wedding – Yasmyn + Lincoln
Yasmyn and Lincoln shocked friends and family when their engagement party suddenly became a surprise wedding! The couple tied the knot at The Calile Hotel in Brisbane, surrounded by stunning dusty pink, ivory and creamy florals.
Yasmyn + Lincoln were our first, sure not to be our last, couple to tie the knot at the gorgeous new Calile Hotel in Brisbane. Surrounded by family and friends who thought they were in for an engagement party, the couple said ‘I do’ at a surprise ceremony in the stunning amphitheatre.
The colour palette stole the show – neutral tones of ivory and creams, blush and dusty pinks were scattered throughout the styling and heroed in the florals. The overall style was unstructured and textural, with pampas grass and a hints of dried florals pulling the look together.
The elegance of the florals was reflected in the table settings. Gorgeous baby pink plates complimented the gold tipped cutlery and creamy linen napkins. The real star was the two-tier, semi-naked, chocolate sour-cream cake by Jocelyn’s Provisions, featuring accent blooms from the bride’s bouquet.
Guests were treated to an exquisite menu including roasted barramundi fillet, sherry wine carrot and creamy mussel sauce; eye fillet, potato garlic mash, herbed mushroom and roasted trust cherry tomato; and king fish crudo, yuzu mayo, kohlrabi, pickled fennel and dill.
Family and friends were delighted after the shock of a lifetime and danced the night away in celebration of the surprise wedding.
