Straying from Tradition

Just two months ago we sat down in our living rooms, on the edge of our seats just waiting for the moment. That moment where Meghan was to step out of the car and on to the steps of the chapel in Windsor.

Real Wedding – Kelly + Patrick

Kelly and Patrick chose the wonderfully charming, quaint and stylish Peppers Convent in the Hunter Valley to be the host and back drop for their big day.

Real Wedding – Bec + Ben

Brisbane-based cuties, Bec and Ben, decided on a relaxed, elegant Thailand wedding after saying “YES” on holiday there a year earlier.

Ana Lui captured every paradise-perfect moment that was infused with a modern, minimalist design as planned and styled by destination dream-team, white+white and Isla & Smith.

Real Wedding – Chantelle + Peter

Recently published by Queensland Brides was our beautiful W+W couple, Chantelle and Peter’s, elegant indoor floral garden-style wedding.

With an incredible floral display over a single long table against a backdrop of exposed brick, one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues, The Tote Room, became a glittering dining hall.

Real Wedding – Sinead + Lachlan

Sinead and Lachlan’s gorgeous warehouse wedding was a fusion of modern charm and classic wedding elegance. A stunning geometric lighting display with tropical foliage groupings and crisp white diamond pendants created a modern feature in the centre of the room, while soft linen table runners, classic floral centrepieces and romantic pillar candles delivered the elegance.

Styled Shoot – Something Blue

Today the white+white team are reminiscing about our amazing collaborative effort on the Something Blue shoot for White Magazine (Issue 29).

This dreamy shoot was awash with French flair and featured soft blues and delicate fabrics.

Styled Shoot – By the Seashore

Recently the white+white team was invited to collaborate on an incredible shoot for The Babushka Ballerina and White Magazine.

The shoot was a sublime mix of gypsy vibes  and Marrakesh musings.

w+w snapshot 2015

With holiday season upon us and our final wedding soon to be a wrap, we decided it was the perfect time to take a look back on our most fabulous year yet.

Behind the Scenes – Bec + Ben’s Thailand Wedding

It was a dream team in heavenly Thailand planning an incredible couple’s dream wedding. white+white had been looking forward to this all year and when the time arrived we were ready to create destination planning and styling magic.

Real Wedding – Angela + Duncan

We had so much fun planning and styling Ange + Dunc’s big day. From our first meeting we knew this was going to be a vibrant wedding full of energy and laughs and fab music!

Kitty + Jimmy featured in Harper’s Bazaar Bride

This wedding was absolutely like no other.

Kitty + Jimmy’s poolside glam meets Marrakech style wedding was the definition of fabulous and extraordinary.

And, we were pretty stoked to see it on the glossy pages of Harper’s Bazaar Bride this month.

REAL WEDDING – RACH + ROB

We loved creating Rach and Rob’s modern wedding featuring geometric lines and designer sophistication. The Stokehouse in Brisbane was the perfect venue for this amazing couple, its stunning architecture and surrounds reflected their love of contemporary living and elegant style.

REAL WEDDING – JODIE + BRENDAN

It was such a pleasure to plan and style Jodie and Brendan’s special day. In a moving and romantic ceremony, our sweet couple exchanged vows at the Holy Spirit Church, New Farm, Brisbane.

WHY WINTER WEDDINGS ARE A MUST!

There is a little chill in the air. A beautiful crispness to each morning; it’s almost time to add a duvet to the bed. What we love most are the glorious days with picturesque blue skies, absent clouds and a sun just warm enough to take the chill away (minus the sweat, hooray!).

BYRON BAY BLISS – HAVE YOU MET RAE?

There is plenty of hype around NSW’s north coast town of Byron Bay – boosting stunning beaches, uninhibited coastline, spectacular cliffs and craggy rocks, lush vegetation, a cute lighthouse and the country’s most easterly point.
