What three words best describe you?

Creative, Detail-attentive, Foodie.

What do you love most about wedding planning?

The best thing for me is getting to understand what the couple’s dream wedding would be and seeing their faces on the day when it’s made into a reality.

What do you love about living in Sydney?

Ah, where to start? Coming from London the weather is a definite plus! I love being by the water there are so many gorgeous spots all over the city to just stop and take it all in. It’s the perfect combination of city life mixed with beach life and an abundance of countryside and mountains just around the corner…which lends itself to so many wonderful options for different styles of weddings in one city.

Tell us your favourite place to hangout…

The Boat House on Palm beach – it’s the ideal location for a Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner escape. I love the styling, the food, the location and the whole atmosphere. If I were to run a restaurant, The Boat House is exactly how I would do it.

Describe your typical day in the Sydney office?

I try and go for a run around the gorgeous Balmoral (the scenery definitely makes it that bit easier!) to clear my head and start the day raring to go. I check through emails, blog posts and Instagram feeds in particular to see what’s going on out there and get those creative juices flowing. In between meeting brides, florists, caterers, photographers and styling suppliers I aim to visit one new place a week. Whether it’s a beach, a coffee shop, wedding venue or restaurant I like to keep myself constantly on the look out for inspiration where ever it may hit me.

Can you give us your insider advice on planning a wedding in Sydney?

Decide what elements of the wedding experience are most important to you as a couple. If you can agree on what you want the main focus to be on and what is not really a priority for the two of you everything else can follow. Sydney has so many options to offer it’s great if you have a little idea of the ‘theme’ of your big day as a starting point. From there we can help and guide you to make it a reality.

What are you top 5 locations for capturing stunning wedding photos?

Centennial Park

This park has so much to offer for wedding shot locations. So many gorgeous backdrops and intimate spots amongst lush gardens, gorgeous old trees and water features. You really can escape in the park and capture your newly married glow.

Cockatoo Island

This heritage island offers a different kind of photography location. An intriguing place with its industrial deserted warehouses, secret alleys and tunnels you can capture some really striking shots. Plus you are surrounded by the water to get those Sydney Harbour landscapes too.

Snappermans Beach

Just tucked away from Palm Beach, Snappermans is off the beaten track and ideal for those isolated beach shots. The shallow nature of the water means you can dip those newlywed toes without the worry of getting your dress ruined by an unexpected wave!

Rocky Point, Balmoral Beach

It reminds me of an over sized Bonsai tree! Situated in the great location of Balmoral, Rocky Point gives you high level water side vantage points, intimate woodland spots, organic rock formation backdrops, beautiful beach walks and an elegant bridge to ponder on. All just a stones throw away from each other!

Angel Place

This unsuspecting alley way has the cutest display of hanging birdcages suspended above you as you walk through. If you are looking for something a little different within the CBD, the right lighting and angles can provide some truly magical shots – and all set up just waiting for you!

What style trends are you loving at the moment?

Hanging florals are great – they can give such a unique backdrop to your ceremony or create a dramatic focal point for your reception. There are so many different ways to create them and you know that every one will be completely bespoke to your wedding.

Continuing the flower theme I also LOVE a floral crown at the moment – for the same reason I guess. You can have something truly unique created for you that can tie in perfectly with the rest of your styling. Subtle and delicate or dramatic and bright I think they are a gorgeous alternative to the traditional tiara.

What is unique about Sydney as a wedding destination/ location?

There are so many options, something for everyone no matter what their dream wedding is. From the Boho Beach to the Glamorous Luxe wedding, Sydney really does have it all.

What can Sydney couples expect from a white+white wedding?

Something truly unique that brings to life the personality of every couple we work with.

What is the best part about your job?

Being there on the day and watching the magic unfold!
