REAL WEDDING – MARGARET + WALTER
What a gorgeous way to spend a weekend, surrounded by the Australian bush for the loving wedding of Margaret and Walter. We just loved this natural, Australiana themed wedding of yellow sunshine and emerald green colours.
Our beautiful couple exchanged their vows under a forest of eucalyptus trees in front of their closest family and friends on a private property in Brisbane’s western hinterland, accompanied by kookaburra calls and the wistful sounds of harpist Cindy Shih.
Following, guests dined under a purpose built marquee in an intimate long lunch setting. From the beginning, the bride and groom wanted a real European family feast. They got engaged in Italy so it was only fitting they would have a very Italian style feast for their wedding reception.Fresh greenery of eucalypt, silver wattle and other natives trailed down the centre of the extended table, as zesty fresh lemons, wattle, grevillea, sunflowers and golden blooms adorned mason jar vases and feature flower boxes.
The party continued with a lively jazz set by a fabulous local rush band. The wedding cake was a stunning naked cake styled to perfection with Australian native blooms and gumnuts. A glorious spring wedding. Congratulations to Margaret and Walter.
