Real Wedding – Bec + John
Bec + John’s gorgeous country fairy tale wedding earlier this year was a wonderful way to kick-start 2016. It wasn’t hard to fall in love with this gorgeous country couple who frequented trips to Brisbane during the planning process while running a cattle farm in far North Queensland. Their warmness and enthusiasm for creating the perfect wedding day was inspiring and had us hooked throughout the entire process.
We certainly pulled out all the stops for this one with every detail considered and of course enlisting the help of a dream team of suppliers.
The Ceremony took place inside the idyllic pavilion on the grounds of the incredible Gabbinbar Homestead. Bec looked like a princess in her custom Darb gown, while John, looking dapper in Wil Valor, could not keep his eyes off his glowing bride. After showering the new Mr & Mrs with rose petals, guests enjoyed roving canapés and drink service as they wandered the extensive grounds.
With 160 guests in attendance we required the addition of a clear marquee set on the lawn for the sit down reception, leaving the inside conservatory as a spacious dance floor featuring a stunning floral chandelier centrepiece. Soft hues of pinks, creams and mint, embellished by gold created an elegant style in a beautiful country setting.
Just some of the other highlights include, live entertainment during dinner, vintage personalised teaspoons for each guest, a scrumptious dessert bar, not one but three delectable wedding cakes and a showering of fireworks during the first dance.
It was truly a magical day that we were incredibly honoured to be a part of.
